My mother is from Myanmar.

And a few months ago I heard that Japanese people developing Myanmar baseball!
That’s why I went to Myanmar last October with baseball supplies for donation in my bag!

Myanmar baseball is developing by Mr. Iwasaki.
In Myanmar, where there is no culture of baseball at all.
Mr. Iwasaki is making Myanmar baseball that gradually more people know for a long period of time.

In Myanmar, baseball is not available during the rainy season from May to October due to the climate.
So they can play baseball in Myanmar is very short.

For such a reason, even now, cannot continue to play baseball without a lot of people to the effort and help.

I have been to Myanmar since I was a child.
I know has soccer there, but I didn’t know there is baseball in Mynamar.

To be honest, I’m very happy to have baseball in my second home country, Myanmar.

And the more happy news is …

It is that there are women’s baseball player in Myanmar (^^) /
There is a baseball team made up of students from the Yangon University of Education (YUOE)in Myanmar, and there are some women’s players there.

Unfortunately, last time when I went there, just after the exams, so the students were
going home and could only see the men’s national team players.
So I couldn’t meet them,

But I’m going to go to Myanmar in the future.
I’m really looking forward to seeing them soon.

Myanmar baseball activities are being developed by Mr. Iwasaki and in cooperation with Japanese expatriates.

There is not only the national team, but there are also various events such as baseball events at Children’s House, T-ball tournaments at Japanese schools, and baseball 5

I will continue to follow Myanmar baseball.
